About Caleb

On a quiet, rainy Tuesday in 2015, Caleb Moretti sketched the light falling through the tall windows of the library. That drawing sat on a desk for months before Moretti finally bought paints to finish it. Moretti, a former librarian with an illustration degree from FIT, now works in Hartford, Connecticut.

Impressionism and abstraction meet in soft-focus scenes of cool blues, grays and silver. Old European landmarks fill the best sellers: St. Michaelis Church rising through Hamburg fog, Stockholm’s Gamla Stan at dusk, Wawel Castle doubled in the Vistula and the Koules Fortress guarding the harbor at Heraklion. Below you’ll find the artist’s best-selling canvases, printed on matte canvas and stretched over solid wood.
