Elevate your space with our American Canvas Art

This American wall art collection is our biggest, with more than 1,800 canvases of cities, towns and landscapes in one place. It covers the skylines people commute into, the towns they grew up in and the coastlines they drive hours to see. Shopping by region is the quickest way in, and every state named below links to its own collection.

The Northeast and Mid-Atlantic

New York City Brooklyn Bridge View looks down the rain-wet walkway toward the stone arches, cables spreading overhead. Lancaster Covered Bridges reflects a red covered bridge and autumn trees in water dotted with lily pads, and Pittsburgh Downtown Lights at Night sets the towers between two yellow spans at blue hour. Washington DC Cherry Blossoms looks through pink branches to the Washington Monument, mirrored in the Tidal Basin. More in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC.

The South

Charleston Rainbow Row lines up pastel row houses in peach, lavender and mint, with palmettos and azaleas in bloom. New Orleans Jazz Musicians fills a red and purple club with piano, bass, horns and drums, and Miami Art Deco District parks 1950s cars along Ocean Drive under pastel Art Deco fronts. Austin Texas Hill Country rolls bluebonnets toward a distant skyline. See South Carolina, Louisiana, Florida and Texas.

The Midwest

Chicago Route 66 Begins Here sets the highway shield against a skyline in blue and gold, and Chicago Rainy Streets in Monochrome paints wet streets in cool gray lit by amber signals. Explore Illinois and Ohio.

The West and Southwest

Santa Fe Pueblo Style frames sun-baked adobe, a turquoise door and wooden vigas under a covered porch, and Tucson Sonoran Desert fills the foreground with saguaros and prickly pear. Vail Rocky Mountain View crosses a wildflower meadow toward snowy peaks, Lake Tahoe Sunset Reflections Serenity turns the lake coral, lavender and gold at sundown, and Huntington Beach Sunrise Views catches the pier at first light, its clouds reflected in wet sand. Eugene Pacific Northwest Style ends with a canoe by a mountain stream. Browse New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, California and Oregon.

Finding your piece of America

  • Start with a memory: the town you grew up in, a honeymoon city or a favorite mountain view.
  • Build a travel wall: three cities in matching sizes and similar colors read as one story.
  • Match the style: impressionist sunsets for warm rooms, travel posters for retro spaces, monochrome for modern ones.

Which states are covered in the American collection?

Almost every region of the country, including New York, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, South Carolina, Louisiana, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Ohio, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, California and Oregon, plus many smaller states. Each state has its own collection, and the biggest cities, such as New York City, Chicago and Austin, have one too.

How do I find art of my hometown?

Start with the state collection, then the city collection if one exists; cities like Chicago, Austin, Charleston and Santa Fe each have their own page. If your town is small, browse the state page for nearby landscapes and landmarks, such as the covered bridges of Lancaster County or the Hill Country around Austin.

Can I build a travel wall from several American cities?

Yes. Pick three to six places that mean something to you, choose one size and one orientation for all of them, and keep to one style, such as the impressionist sunsets or the vintage travel posters. Hang them 2 to 3 inches apart in a row or a grid so they read as one story.

Is there American landscape art without a city skyline?

Plenty. Vail Rocky Mountain View crosses a wildflower meadow toward snowy peaks, Tucson Sonoran Desert is all saguaros and cacti, Lake Tahoe Sunset Reflections Serenity mirrors the sky in still water, Lancaster Covered Bridges shows autumn in Lancaster County, and Eugene Pacific Northwest Style follows a stream toward the mountains.
