About the Artwork
This is the middle panel of Brynn Ellery's set of three abstract prints, and it carries the whole story. Thick slabs of royal blue and cobalt climb in a gentle diagonal across the center, laid down with a palette knife so every edge lifts into a raised ridge. Below, the blue deepens toward navy. Above, it thins into cream and pale gray-blue. One small fleck of burnt orange sits right in the middle, the kind of detail you notice on the third look.
Brynn works in heavy impasto, dragging paint flat and letting it crack and fold at the edges. The print keeps that texture visible, so the strokes read like layered stone or water seen from above. It's a contemporary abstract painting that feels calm without feeling empty.
It's for anyone who wants blue abstract wall art with real movement in it, and especially for those hanging all three panels together. On its own it works too, as blue and white abstract wall art with just enough warmth from that orange note.
Hang it at the center of the triptych above a bed as master bedroom wall art, or use it as blue dining room wall art along a long wall where the diagonal can lead the eye. This canvas wall art sits easily with linen, pale wood and brass.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
People expect skylines drawn in straight, tidy lines. I hand them to the palette knife instead, dragging a ridge of red against a cool blue and leaving the edge raw. Fifteen years as a florist, setting stems side by side until the colors worked, gave me that habit. Art school never did. I've painted full-time since 2002.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
