About the Artwork
Two long navy leaves rise from a shared stem and lean away from each other, each one split by a pale cream vein with thin side ribs scratched into the paint. Tucked behind them sits a third leaf in warm tan, quieter and lighter, angled off to the right. A single small blue dot near the bottom corner keeps the whole thing from feeling too settled.
Dale Pennington painted this in soft, chalky layers over a cream ground, and you can see the brush drag in the background and along the leaf edges. It is one panel of a trio, and as part of a set of 3 navy wall art it carries the simple, rounded shapes of mid century modern wall art with a looser, hand-worked boho feel.
This piece suits anyone who likes plants on the wall without a busy botanical print, and who wants navy and cream wall art that feels calm rather than formal. It pairs easily with the other two panels as a mid century wall art set, or stands on its own.
Hang this canvas wall art above a bed, a low credenza, or a reading chair, where the tall vertical shape and muted palette can breathe. It looks at home with walnut wood, linen, rattan, and brass.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
The Kansas River runs slow past Lawrence, through prairie gone rust and mustard. Those are the bands I pull across pale sand in a drafty garage on the east side of town. Years running a grain elevator left me patient with weather, timing and slow wear. Wax softens each layer. It should feel like old wood someone still cares for.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
