About the Artwork

Two open hands reach in from opposite edges of the canvas, and right at the center their fingertips just barely meet. That's the whole picture, and it's enough. Paola Medina built each hand from a handful of confident flat-brush strokes in warm blush, tan and soft rose, letting the knuckles and nails form where the paint lands.
