About the Artwork
Gary Lindquist built this bouquet almost entirely with a palette knife. Full peonies crowd a plain glass vase, their petals laid down in thick ridges of white and pale grey, while the dark leaves fan out in sharp, glossy strokes. Up in the corner, one open bloom turns soft blush pink, and it's the first thing your eye goes to every time.
The rest is a quiet study in grey. Streaks and scraped patches fill the wall behind the flowers, the stems cross and blur through the water, and the tabletop catches a slick reflection of it all. It reads as a pink black and white wall art piece with the patience of a classic black and white still life painting, just looser and more tactile.
It suits anyone who loves black and white botanical prints but wants a little warmth in the mix. If your rooms lean toward greys, charcoals and clean whites, that single pink flower gives them a gentle lift without breaking the calm.
As canvas wall art, it sits well above a console in the entry, over a dining sideboard, or in a bedroom done in modern black and white wall art and soft linens. Pair it with other black and white canvas prints, or let it hold the wall on its own.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I work out of a former machine shop loft in Pittsburgh, under a row of industrial lamps. Setting type for a newspaper taught me that spacing and rhythm matter as much as the letters themselves. I build each piece from press-room black and paper white, stepping through cool steel greys so the eye climbs the contrast like a ladder.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
