About the Artwork
Stephanie Marsh painted this circle in one pass. A single dry-brush stroke of graphite gray sweeps around and stops just short of closing at the upper right, where the bristles thin out and break into the plaster-like ground. You can see every hair of the brush in that last stretch, the moment the paint ran out.
Below it, loose bands of sand and cream are scraped across the surface, and a soft shadow sits under the ring as if it rests on a ledge. It's minimal wall art with real texture behind it, quiet but never flat, and it works as zen wall art without leaning on any obvious symbols.
This piece is for people who like a calm room and a painting that rewards a second look. If your palette runs to linen, oatmeal, warm white and soft gray, this neutral abstract wall art will settle right in and give the eye one clear place to rest.
Hang this canvas wall art above a low dresser as wall art for bedroom spaces, beside a reading chair, or in an entry where you want modern wall decor that doesn't shout. Its tall format suits narrow walls and pairs easily with wood, stone and plaster finishes.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a bright studio in Northeast Minneapolis, where long winters keep my palette pale. I ran a small yoga studio for eight years, and teaching taught me how much calm comes from stillness and breath. My paintings are layered oil and cold wax in bone, sand and soft grey, with one or two shapes floating in open space, scraped back until the surface feels quiet.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
