About the Artwork
A teal stovetop kettle sits on a rust-orange table, its body rounded down to a soft pebble shape with a short spout and a tall arched handle wrapped in black. A single thin curl of steam drifts up toward a small mustard sun, and the cream background is left loose, with every brushstroke still showing.
Brittany Shaw paints in a mid-century style that keeps things simple and warm. The glossy highlights on the enamel, the silver lid with its brass knob, the quick shadow under the base. It reads like a kitchen oil painting from an old family home, quiet and a little playful.
This is for the person who starts every morning with the kettle on, and for anyone collecting retro pieces that feel lived-in rather than staged. It makes an easy gift for a tea lover or a new homeowner who wants colorful kitchen wall art without anything loud.
As canvas wall art, it works as small kitchen wall art above a stove or counter, as breakfast nook wall art beside the window, or on a coffee bar wall decor shelf next to the mugs. The cream, teal and rust also sit nicely in a dining room with warm wood.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint out of a backyard studio in East Austin that I painted mustard yellow myself. Buying for a vintage clothing shop gave me an eye for sixties prints and the colors that made them pop. On canvas I stack bold circles, leaves and wavy lines in tangerine, teal and cherry, keeping the planes flat and the brushstrokes loose so every piece feels lively.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
