Christmas Santa Art Sleigh Over Snowy Rooftops - Canvas Wall Art

This is christmas santa art that whispers instead of shouts. Santa's sleigh and a small team of reindeer cross a pastel evening sky, far off and graceful, with Santa himself just a soft dab of muted cranberry and a hint of white beard. Below, a row of village houses sits under thick snow, chimneys standing up against the haze.

Anouk Delmas paints in a soft contemporary impressionist style, building the sky from loose, chalky strokes of cream, powder blue and blush pink with tiny flecks of starlight. The rooftops are laid on in thick, creamy marks that catch the light like fresh snow, and the warm yellow windows give the whole scene a quiet glow. As a santa painting, it leans on mood and distance rather than detail.

It suits anyone who wants christmas wall art with a gentle, grown-up feel, and it pairs easily with pastel christmas decor, muted ornaments and natural greenery. Because the palette stays soft and wintry, it also works as winter wall art that can stay up well past the holidays. It makes a thoughtful gift for collectors of christmas art prints, too.

Hang this canvas wall art above a fireplace mantel, a sofa or an entry console where the long sky has room to breathe. Sized up, it reads as large christmas wall art in a living room or dining room, and smaller formats bring easy christmas wall decor to a hallway or guest bedroom.
