About the Artwork
Emilio Arriaga starts with a pale caliche ground, chalky and faintly mottled, then sets a warm adobe dust quarter circle into the lower left corner. Inside it, a few thick strokes of cream paint sit raised on the surface like marks pressed into clay. Just above, a single thin arc of ink follows the curve, and a soft taupe smudge drifts high on the right like weathered plaster.
It's a quiet piece of boho minimalist wall art with a wabi sabi wall art feel. The edges aren't perfect, the brushwork shows, and that's the point. As a neutral abstract painting, it reads as both earthy and spare, with enough texture to hold your eye up close.
This is for anyone drawn to japandi wall art, warm desert tones, and rooms that feel calm rather than busy. If you like abstract circle wall art but want something softer than a full sun or moon, this partial form leaves room to breathe.
Printed as canvas wall art, it fits easily above a linen sofa, a low bed, or a wooden console. It also works as minimalist bathroom wall art next to stone, plaster, or natural wood, where its beige and taupe palette blends right in.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a converted garage on the South Side of San Antonio, with the door rolled up when the evenings cool. Working as a surveyor's assistant taught me to read wide, flat land and to trust a single straight line. My paintings use sand, clay and soft white acrylic, with one brushed mark of diluted ink crossing the canvas like a distant ridge.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
