About the Artwork
Lucia Ferrer starts high with a deep cobalt evening sky, brushed in long, loose sweeps that leave streaks of lighter blue showing through. As your eye drops down the canvas, the color thins into a soft bank of off-white mist that seems to lift off water you can't quite see. At the very bottom, a thin slate horizon holds everything steady, and one small burnt-orange glint sits right where sky meets sea.
This is a contemporary abstract painting that still reads as a place. The brushwork stays visible and a little rough, with dragged edges and thin scratches in the paint, so the mist feels like weather moving rather than a flat gradient. Among our blue canvas prints, it's one of the quietest, and that small spark of orange is what keeps you looking.
It suits anyone who wants blue abstract wall art with room to breathe, people who love the coast but don't want literal boats and lighthouses, and anyone drawn to calm, open skies at the end of the day.
The tall format works well as master bedroom wall art above a dresser or beside the bed, and it holds its own as blue and white abstract wall art in a narrow hallway or next to a window. As canvas wall art it also brings a settled, easy mood to a dining room with white walls and natural wood.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
Pharmacy work made me patient and exact with measurements, so I still mix my blues by careful ratio. From my studio a few blocks above the bay in Monterey, I watch the marine layer hang on until noon. I build hazy fields of Pacific blue and cream in overlapping veils. Then one small touch of coral warms the surface.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
