“I paint in a small cabin studio on the edge of Asheville, where the ridges fade into blue haze every afternoon. Fifteen years reading X-rays taught me how much form can live in pale, quiet tones. My work uses thin oil washes on lightly primed canvas, a single stroke of soft charcoal gray, and wide empty fields that leave room for the eye to rest.”
