Artist
Kevin Lawson
“I paint in a shared warehouse studio in Denver's RiNo district. I used to refinish old furniture, and sanding through layers of finish taught me to love worn, quiet surfaces. My canvases start with thin washes of warm grey, then I drag ivory and chalk white across with a palette knife until mountains and plains fade into soft mist with room to breathe.”
