“My studio is a sunny back room in a 1950s ranch house in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Years at a children's bookstore taught me how simple shapes and gentle color can tell a whole story. I paint in a mid-century spirit, with rounded forms, clean outlines and storybook pastels that I soften slightly, so each canvas feels like a page from a well-loved library book.”
