“Working with my hands restoring antique furniture taught me about texture and patina. When I moved to Princeton in 2019, I started translating those weathered surfaces into abstract paintings that balance chaos and calm.”

About Daphne

Restoring antique furniture gave Daphne Voss a feel for texture and patina long before painting took over. After moving to Princeton, New Jersey, in 2019, Voss began turning those weathered surfaces into abstract pieces that hold disorder and quiet in one frame. The artist earned a BA in Studio Art from the University of Georgia.

Abstraction and minimalism guide the work, and the best sellers bring that pared-back eye to real places: the Brooklyn Bridge after rain, Boston brownstones in autumn, the Painted Ladies of San Francisco and a modern adobe home in Marfa. Blues, beiges and warm browns lead the palette. Below you’ll find the Voss canvases our customers choose most often.
