About Brielle

Brielle Navarro’s abstract work still carries traces of a 2020 weekend in Oaxaca. Its market stalls and ancient buildings changed how Navarro sees color and composition, and now blend with the desert light at home in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Navarro is a former caterer with classical training in realism.

The style blends impressionism and abstraction, and Mexico supplies the subjects. Paper lanterns hang over painted walls in Jalatlaco, a neighborhood of Oaxaca. Cactus meets turquoise water at Balandra Beach in La Paz, and snowy Popocatépetl rises over the rooftops of Puebla. Navarro’s most popular canvases appear below, printed on matte canvas and ready for the wall.
