Pastel Christmas Decor with a Snowy Gift Sled - Canvas Wall Art

A little red wooden sled waits in fresh snow outside a pale cottage door, stacked with gift boxes in blush pink, sage, and cream, each tied with a soft gold ribbon. A small fir stands upright at the back, its branches dusted with snow, and a light dusting has settled on the packages too. Wesley Danforth paints it in his soft contemporary impressionist style, with short, creamy strokes that make the snow feel like it is still drifting down.

This is pastel christmas decor for anyone who loves the holidays but prefers a quiet palette over bright reds and greens. The powder blue door and faded shutters give it the gentle look of light blue christmas decor, while the worn sled keeps it warm and a little nostalgic. It reads as a snow scene painting first and a holiday piece second, so it never feels loud.

As canvas wall art, the brushwork really comes through. You can see the dabs of ivory and pale gray in the snow, the dry, feathery strokes in the fir, and the light catching the ribbon bows. It sits easily with other christmas wall art or works on its own as winter wall art from December through the end of the cold months.

Hang it by the front door as christmas entryway decor, above a console table, or along a stairway where guests pass by. It also fits a soft-toned living room or a bedroom with linen and wood accents. If you are looking for christmas canvas art or holiday wall decor that feels calm and handmade, this one belongs on your list.
