About the Artwork

This piece of black circle wall art keeps things simple and lets the paint do the talking. Allison Reilly built up a solid black disc with swirling brush marks you can still trace in the surface, its edges a little rough where the brush ran dry. Below it, dozens of fine pale grey lines drop toward the bottom of the canvas like rain or thread, all set on a warm, softly textured cream ground.

The worn edges and uneven strokes give it a wabi sabi wall art feel, quiet and a bit imperfect in the best way.
