“I paint in a shared warehouse studio in Little Havana, with the roll-up door open whenever the rain allows. Hand-lettering storefront signs taught me to cut clean stencils and trust a fast line. I start every canvas with a rough concrete-grey ground, then layer parrots, palms and faces with spray, overspray and drips that I let run where they want.”
