About Sloane

Sloane Marlowe bought a first canvas at a garage sale on a rainy October afternoon in 2016, and that purchase changed everything. Years of work as a dental hygienist had never quieted a pull toward moody, atmospheric work. Marlowe, who earned a photography degree before moving to paint, works in Eugene, Oregon.

Halloween rules the current best sellers, painted in an impressionist style with abstract touches and a friendly streak. A fox and a rabbit in period costume share a moment among pumpkins, jack-o’-lanterns grin on a mantel under a floral wreath, and a Victorian mansion glows beneath a huge full moon. Below are Marlowe’s canvases, ready to hang for the season.
