“My neighbor's rescued owl rehabilitation in 2015 opened my eyes to how animals heal differently than humans. The quiet patience required for watercolor reminds me of watching those birds recover their strength slowly, one careful brushstroke at a time.”

About Remi

A rescued owl changed the path for Remi Callahan, a former pharmacist. In 2015, a neighbor was nursing the bird back to health, and watching its slow recovery showed Callahan how differently animals heal. Watercolor asks for that same patience. Callahan trained through summer art intensives and paints in Burlington, Vermont.

The watercolor style has a calm, spiritual feel and soft evening light. Coasts and cities share the collection: the cliffs of Cape Breton at sunset, the Lions Gate Bridge at twilight, seagulls over the surf at Myrtle Beach and a red trolley rounding a curve in San Diego. Each canvas below is a shop favorite, printed on matte canvas over a solid wood frame.
