About Nora

Five years of coordinating weddings left Nora Blaire wanting quieter, more personal work. Painting began as a way to unwind, then became a full-time pursuit once people started asking for pieces inspired by Pacific Northwest landscapes. Blaire is based in Seattle, Washington, and earned a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Blaire works in a watercolor style with an expressionist streak, mixing soft washes with bold strokes. City scenes lead the way: Vancouver at sunset, Tampa’s harbor framed by palms, the brick turrets of Toronto’s Queen Street West and a Las Vegas skyline in black and gold.
