Artist
Michelle Dorsey
“I paint in a carriage house studio behind our home in Charleston. Staging houses taught me how a single piece of art can set the mood for a whole room. I work with a palette knife in thick black, white and warm greys, scraping the edges so they shine, and when a piece asks for it I add a small touch of metallic gold against the drips.”
