“My studio is a spare bedroom in Seattle with a window full of grey sky, which suits me fine. I worked as a public librarian for years and learned to love quiet, ordered spaces. I paint fog, still water and simple botanicals in gouache and acrylic, using soft gradations, a few charcoal accents and plenty of open ivory so each piece feels like a deep breath.”
