“I paint in a corner studio in Chicago's Ravenswood neighborhood, facing a row of old elms. As a physical therapist I learned that calm comes from slow, steady movement, and I bring that into every stroke. I work in acrylic with wide flat brushes and a light palette knife, blending ivory and soft greys into misty lakefronts and gentle abstract forms.”
