“Working with precision tools for twelve years taught me patience, but a gallery visit in 2016 made me crave something more expressive. I traded metal shavings for paint tubes and never looked back.”

About Harrison

Before picking up a brush, Harrison Quinn spent twelve years as a machinist. A gallery visit in 2016 sparked a hunger for something more expressive, so Quinn left the machine shop for the studio. The artist now lives in San Francisco, California, and holds a BA in Studio Art from UC Berkeley.

Quinn’s work sits between abstraction and minimalism, built from simple shapes in brown, beige, red and blue. City views lead the way: Detroit’s skyline from across the river, rain-slicked Times Square at night, the ribbed arches of the Montreal Biodome and Diamond Head rising over Honolulu. Below are the most popular Quinn prints in our shop, stretched over solid wood and ready for the wall.
