Artist
Diego Fuentes
“I paint in a small studio in Little Havana and drive to Key Biscayne at dawn to watch the bay go pale. Painting theater backdrops taught me to work big and trust broad strokes from a distance. I pull wide bands of cream and slate across the canvas, soften every edge with a dry brush, and let one stroke of coral hold the calm.”
