Daniela Ochoa
“My studio is a small casita behind my family's house in Tucson, shaded by a mesquite tree. Teaching calligraphy showed me how one confident stroke can hold an entire mood. I work in ink-deep blacks and slate greys with brushes I load only once, then soften the edges with an ivory glaze so the dark shapes seem to breathe.”
