“My studio is a small bungalow room in East Nashville with a wall of colour swatches taped floor to ceiling. Designing greeting cards taught me that a cheerful idea has to read in a second. I block in electric blue, orange and pink in flat shapes, then paint over them with quick, juicy strokes and finish with bold black lines that give each piece its punch.”
